About Us

Westside Chapel Funeral Home has been serving the funeral needs of families in the Morristown area since 1969. The late Rev. J.B. and Marie Gulley bought Westside Chapel in 1981, and in 2012 they completed construction on a new addition with a complete renovation.

Mr. Gulley always took great pride in the fact our funeral home was locally owned and operated. It was his belief that a locally owned and operated funeral home could better serve the needs of the community. To stay with that belief, J.B. and Marie had made preparations that upon their death the funeral home would remain a locally owned business, so they put their trust in a select few of employees to carry on the tradition.

It is our goal to continue the legacy that J.B. has left and to treat the families we serve with compassion, respect, and personal attention that started so many years ago. We still take pride that our funeral home remains locally owned and operated. Owners, Linda Jones, Tim Jones, and Jordon Jones.
